Once I got the car on the lift and realized how big of a job I had ahead of me I decided to completely dismantle the car, bag and label all parts, get lots of pictures and start the frame off restoration. While removing seats, roof liner, door skins or basically anything that concealed a hiding spot for mice there would be nests crammed tight in those areas. I removed more than 55 gallons of just nests from the car, I didn't expect that amount!
Trunk cleaned out, lots of metal needs replacing including trunk floor, wheel wells, quarter panels and shock towers.
Drivers side rear shock tower and wheel well rusted out.
Dash components all removed outside of wiring
Seats and carpeting out
All of the heat runs including heater core and controls were removed.
Front end of car is off including frame
